Deloitte's Infrastructure and Real Estate (IRE) team is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst in Cairo. The team's vision is to transform the infrastructure, real estate, and capital project investment advisory market landscape in the Middle East by leveraging transformative technology to create sustainable, innovative, and impactful solutions that deliver major projects transforming economies, societies, and the environment.
Duties & responsibilities
Conduct financial and economic analysis to support infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, business cases, and financial models.
Perform market research, benchmarking, and sector analysis to assess trends, opportunities, and risks.
Support the development of client deliverables such as presentations, reports, and proposals, ensuring clarity and high-quality output.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to analyze data, structure problems, and generate insights.
Contribute to transaction support activities, including PPP advisory, project structuring, and due diligence.
Assist in project management by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of workstreams.
Demonstrate analytical rigor, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail in day-to-day assignments.
Eligibility criteria
Bachelor's degree in finance or any related field.
1-3+ years of experience in financial consulting within the government, a private sector bidder, or another advisory firm working on PPP, project finance, outsourcing, or similar service contracts.
Experience in the funding and financing of major projects.
A solid understanding of the financial and commercial aspects of government infrastructure and/or service contracts.
Experience working with financial models, government business cases, and strategy development.
An understanding of public sector procurement procedures.
A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving, with an ability to think laterally.
Technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
