Opportunity description

Agoda is seeking a Commercial Team Lead for Growth Accounts focusing on the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region, based in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will manage a team responsible for growing the coverage, revenue, and commercial quality of Agoda's supply network across the region. This role focuses heavily on strategic account management and developing win-win commercial relationships with emerging and high-growth accommodation partners.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Manage a team of commercial account managers and executives focusing on emerging and high-growth supply partners.

  • Drive commercial and operational excellence by collaborating with internal stakeholders across the MEA region and globally.

  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and formulate strategic plans to resolve complex partner issues.

  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and systematically evaluate the commercial team's performance.

  • Identify performance gaps within the market and implement action plans to ensure commercial success.

  • Oversee the prioritization of daily tasks, manage project sprints, and track commercial targets in internal systems.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from a top university.

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with a strong background in commercial execution or business development.

  • Minimum of 4 years of senior supervisory or team management experience.

  • Proven track record in using data and analytics to drive commercial teams and make strategic decisions.

  • Intellectual curiosity with excellent personal and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously under pressure in a highly competitive, rapidly changing environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation skills, and strong emotional intelligence.

  • Excellent language proficiency in English.
