The company is seeking a high-energy Enterprise Account Executive to drive net-new revenue and expansion within strategic accounts across key FSI and enterprise accounts. The successful candidate will be the owner of a defined territory where they will build their own pipeline, tell the Elastic Search AI story, and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals in a consumption-based model. This role sits at the intersection of sales execution, technical fluency, and cross-functional collaboration, and is critical to their growth in the Enterprise segment.
Duties & responsibilities
Own their territory and build a pipeline by developing and executing a proactive outbound cadence (email, call, social) that generates ≥50% of booked opportunities.
Conduct deep discovery and qualification to uncover pain points, business impact, budget, and decision criteria using frameworks like MEDDPICC.
Craft and deliver tailored value storytelling and live demos that map the company's capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
Collaborate with customers to build formal close plans and keep the CRM up-to-date, maintaining ≥90% forecast accuracy.
Lead high-stakes contract and pricing negotiations, defend value, and secure multi-year consumption commitments.
Speak fluently about cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures to position the company effectively.
Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals.
Eligibility criteria
5+ years of experience closing complex Enterprise deals, consistently overachieving targets in a SaaS consumption-based environment.
Demonstrated ability to apply MEDDPICC or equivalent frameworks to drive disciplined pipelines.
Track record of delivering executive-level presentations and demos that tie product capabilities to ROI.
History of landing multi-year, high-ACV contracts while securing executive stakeholder buy-in.
Comfortable discussing technical topics including observability, security, search, and cloud cost optimization.
Collaborative mindset, coachability, and the ability to partner effectively with internal teams.
Genuine appreciation for open-source communities.
Bonus: Prior experience at an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure company.
