Duties & responsibilities
Receive and assess freight tenders for Air and Sea operations.
Coordinate seamlessly with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiate rates effectively with carriers and agents to secure competitive pricing.
File contracts with carriers on behalf of the regional stations.
Conduct thorough market analysis and study available logistics solutions.
Follow up on submitted tenders and meticulously track the winning ratio.
Prepare monthly analyses on freight volumes and console performance.
Follow up with airlines and shipping lines for spot rates, such as negotiating rate reductions on specific trade lanes due to capacity issues.
Prepare regular weekly or monthly reports on the status of won or lost pricing inquiries.
Support product development and growth acceleration regarding day-to-day ad-hoc freight inquiries.
Manage, monitor, and guide team KPIs to ensure high performance.
Eligibility criteria
Proven experience in Freight Forwarding and supply chain management.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent skills in the management and execution of Tenders and RFQs.
Deep understanding of strategies of pricing within the logistics sector.
Ability to demonstrate building outstanding teams, setting clear directions, and simplification.
High capacity for collaboration, breaking silos, execution, accountability, and innovation.
