Deloitte is offering a job opportunity in Sydney, NSW, AU as a Customer Insights and Analytics Manager.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Manage the delivery of customer strategy projects including leading key conversations with clients regarding their transformation and supporting the execution of Deloitte delivery teams
  2. Use data-driven approaches to develop deep insights and analytics for our clients, shaping actionable recommendations and improved ways of working
  3. Design and lead data analyses to help inform choices on our customer strategy projects, including conjoint analysis for feature/product choices, customer segmentation, quantitative analysis of customer experience, analysis supporting growth projections and customer loyalty
  4. Experience with customer analytics modelling such as churn & retention, cross sell / upsell and other analytics techniques are highly desirable

Eligibility criteria

  1. University degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university in business, economic, statistics or analytics
  2. 5+ years’ experience in consulting, ideally in a leading consulting firm, research and / or analytics firm, digital / design agency or within a public sector / industry equivalent
  3. Experience in designing and/or running quantitative and qualitative customer research at client or agency side. Have demonstrated experience with data modelling techniques, e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, decision trees, conjoint analysis etc. 
  4. Comfort with data preparation, modelling, and interpretation – using, R, Python or/and statistical programs such as Q, SPSS etc.
  5. Compelling data storytelling and proficiency in using excel for data preparation, hypothesis testing and synthesising insights
  6. Experience with using and / or building on Qualtrics, Medallia or other CX platforms is advantages. Familiarity with running voice of customer studies is a bonus.
  7. Experience with some form of visualisation tool (e.g., PowerBI or Tableau) is preferred, but not necessary.
  8. Exceptional analytical, design and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  9. Experience and interests in the use of human-centred design, current use of technology including digital marketing, mobile, data analytics and an understanding of emerging trends and technologies as they relate to strategy (e.g., digital, cloud, AI)
