Opportunity description
Deloitte is offering a job opportunity in United Arab Emirates as a Manager in Corporate Finance - Government & Infrastructure.
Duties & responsibilities
- Structuring and documenting project/programme business cases
- Preparing analysis, including complex analysis and financial models, to support each stage of these projects/programmes
- Setting commercial and financial strategies for renewable infrastructure assets and projects, including considering alternative commercial models including joint ventures
- Developing and executing their procurement/transaction strategy
- Supporting the financial management of existing clients
- Advising governments on their sustainability policy and implementation strategy
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or any related field
- A recognized accountancy or relevant financial qualification (preferrable but not essential)
- A minimum of 5 - 6 years of experience in financial consulting within the government, a private sector bidder or another advisory firm working on one or more of: PPP, project finance, outsourcing, or similar service contracts
- Experience in a finance and/or commercial focused role within government, a private sector bidder or another advisory firm working on one or more of: PPP, project finance, infrastructure policy/strategy
- Experience of sustainability strategy/policy and business models underpinning one or more of the following (desirable): electric vehicles (EVs), low carbon hydrogen, solar PV, wind, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS), and the circular economy
- An understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance principles and sustainable finance
- Experience of working with financial models
- Experience of business case and/or report writing (MS Word and Powerpoint)
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Arabic (desirable)
- Dedication to delivering quality results
- Ability to multi-task and to operate in a high-pressure environment
- A logical and methodical approach to problem solving, with an ability to think laterally
- Good project management skills and an understanding of governance requirements and risks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
