Duties & responsibilities

  • Teach (I)GCSE and A Level English, delivering lessons that develop deep literary understanding and high-quality analytical writing.

  • Stretch high attainers while supporting all learners to access complex texts and write with precision.

  • Bring creativity, clarity, and academic rigor to the classroom, fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of English.

  • Make a broader contribution to school life and participate actively in the Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) programme.

  • Comply with all safeguarding and child protection policies to promote the welfare of children.

Eligibility criteria

  • High Quality Degree in English or related fields (Must be MOFA Attested).

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Must be MOFA Attested).

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the National Curriculum for England in the UK or UAE.

  • Essential experience in teaching GCSE and A Level.

  • Proven track record of outstanding results as a leading subject teacher.

  • Cleared Police and Safeguarding Background Checks.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced international, multicultural, and demanding environment.
