Are you ready to spend 5 months in Europe? Each year the commission offers a 5-month paid traineeship. Undergraduate students or graduates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the European Commission Blue Book Traineeship, with some seats reserved for master's students.
Financial benefits include a monthly allowance of €1,376, coverage of travel and visa costs.
Duties & responsibilities
- Attending and organizing meetings and sessions.
- Preparing and drafting reports and documents.
- Responding to citizens’ inquiries.
- Supporting project management and implementation.
- Translating and reviewing texts (for the translation track).
- Working collaboratively and proactively in a multicultural environment.
Eligibility criteria
- University Degree: A full bachelor’s degree (minimum of 3 years).
- Previous Experience: No more than 6 weeks in EU institutions.
- Language (Administrative Track): One language (English/French/German) at C1/C2 + a second language at B2.
- Language (Translation Track): Translation into the mother tongue from two languages (first at C, second at B2).
- Documents: Valid ID, academic certificates, proof of experience, proof of language level.
- Eligible Nationalities: Open to all nationalities, including non-EU citizens.
- Application: Via an EU Login account within the specified deadlines (twice a year).
