Exams Officer Vacancy at GEMS Education in UAE

GEMS Education is offering a job opportunity in Dubai, UAE as an Exams Officer. Oversee all arrangements for all in-school assessments and provide professional leadership and management for the department to ensure high quality teaching of the relevant subject, effective use of resources and improved standards of achievement for pupils.

• Exam coordination: Oversee all arrangements for all public examination entries e.g, iGCSE and equivalent, Vocational subjects including Diplomas and AS and A2 examinations for Sixth Form students.
• Assessment: Support the senior staff in the development and provision of data for analysis, working with them to analyze overall school data on a regular basis.
• Reports: Assist in the setup and maintenance of systems for generating reports to parents, and for monitoring and student tracking systems.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) – Measurables:

2. Students personal & social development and their innovations
3. Teaching and Assessment
4. Curriculum
5. The protection care and guidance of and support of students
6. Leadership and Management

1. Bachelor's degree from a reputed University.
2. At least 3 years of experience of working in a similar role.
3. Experience in use of Microsoft Office, Results Plus and Cambridge examination portals.
4. The confidence to design and conduct training on examination procedures for staff and students.
5. Ability to multi-task and effective organization skills
