Majid Al Futtaim announces a job opportunity for the position of FMCG Commercial Head. The role holder will mainly work for standardizing the sourcing strategy within the respective country and/or region, optimizing business performance in order to achieve and exceed set targets by implementing best practices. He/she is also responsible for supporting and advising the local sourcing teams to implement international standards on the country level.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective strategies for sourcing goods.
- Develop a monitoring process for the orders of necessary goods.
- Oversee the development of negotiation strategies in consultation of Vp Omnichannel Sourcing to secure profitable deals based on business targets.
- Review identified suppliers and support the development of partnerships when applicable.
- Manage the data sharing and monetization to Cpg’S & Vendors.
- Ensure collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the sourcing function.
- Oversee the development of metrics to evaluate product quality.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or Business Administration.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- 7 – 10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role.
- 3 – 5 Years In Retail Industry.
- Fluency In English Language command.
- FMCG Sourcing And Contracting Experience In A Retail Environment.
