Tesla is offering a Full Time job opportunity in Australia: Market Analysis.
Duties & responsibilities
- Ongoing performance monitoring and financial reporting for existing Virtual Power Plant (VPP) operations
- Analyzing past system performance to identify risks and opportunities for improvements in Tesla.
- Performing analysis for the energy retail business, understanding energy market risks and trends while supporting with pricing energy products.
- Maintaining and updating Tesla’s in-house view of energy markets and revenue projections.
- Working with the business development team to support identification and analysis of new opportunities.
Eligibility criteria
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to work full time and for a 6-month contract.
- Proficiency in modelling and handling large datasets using Python/Matlab, advanced knowledge of Microsoft
- Excel and/or other tools such as SQL.
- An understanding of the National Electricity Market and renewable energy technologies.
- Experience modelling and developing the business cases for renewable energy technologies like solar and batteries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
