Job Overview

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is offering a job opportunity for the position of Project Manager in Jordan.

This role offers professionals the chance to work with one of the leading United Nations organizations dedicated to promoting sustainable development, poverty reduction, and effective governance worldwide. The selected candidate will support the implementation and management of development projects and contribute to achieving the program’s objectives.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing project activities to ensure successful implementation.

  • Coordinating with government entities, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Monitoring project progress and preparing technical and progress reports.

  • Supervising project teams and supporting effective collaboration.

  • Managing project resources and ensuring proper budget implementation.

  • Ensuring compliance with UNDP policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Eligibility criteria

  • A university degree in a relevant field such as:

    • Project Management

    • International Development

    • Economics

    • Social Sciences

    • or a related discipline.

  • Relevant experience in project management or development programs.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic may be considered an advantage.
