GEMS Education is offering a teaching job opportunity at GEMS FirstPoint School located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for the position of KS2 Primary Teacher, starting in September 2026.
This opportunity allows qualified teachers to join one of the leading international schools in Dubai and work in a dynamic educational environment that follows the British curriculum.
The selected teacher will be responsible for teaching students in Key Stage 2 (KS2) and delivering engaging lessons that support students’ academic growth and personal development.
The teacher will also plan lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
Duties & responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
Teach primary school students following the British curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans and learning activities.
Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress.
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Participate in school activities and programs.
Work collaboratively with teachers, school leadership, and parents.
Eligibility criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Education (BEd) or a relevant degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching primary school students.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative school environment.
