Opportunity description

Deloitte offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of guest experience consultant in its Sydney location at Quay Quarter Towers. The Guest Experience team is looking to broaden its services and add a new member to the team as part of the Sydney Client Experience team. Your new role will see you support the corporate office with day-to-day reception operations, including managing its meeting rooms and supporting the onsite catering team when required.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Working as an ambassador for the Deloitte brand and leading the key client-facing activities that occur daily. 
  • Through this role, you will facilitate these key functions:
    • Meet - manage the space that supports formal & informal client interactions.
    • Greet - welcome and provide direction to guests at arrival.
    • Entertain - ensure the guests are enjoying themselves during their stay.
    • Engage - ensure that guests can interact (work, problem solve, co-create) seamlessly.
    • Inspire - showcase how Deloitte makes an impact that matters to clients.
  • Administrative tasks such as managing the online booking system and responding to queries and emails.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Passion for exceptional customer service and treating others with empathy, care, and respect. 
  • Organizing skills and ability to provide exceptional first impressions of the Deloitte brand and reputation.
  • Highly experienced in the Hospitality & Events Industry.
  • Excellent administrative skills and verbal communication.
  • Strong ability to work independently, and multi-task skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a high focus on problem-solving.
  • Experience with AV equipment (desired but not compulsory – training will be given).
  • Barista skills (not compulsory – training will be provided).

Please note: The minimum salary requirement for this role is $83,000 inclusive of the minimum superannuation contribution.
