Yokogawa is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to build and lead a high-performing AI team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will focus on developing Gen AI, AI/ML, and OT/IT integration solutions for industrial customers, driving innovation in industrial automation and information systems.
Duties & responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for AI initiatives.
Lead and manage the AI CoE team, including AI engineers, data scientists, and Gen AI developers.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI/ML and Gen AI solutions.
Drive the adoption of Gen AI technologies (LLMs, NLP, code generation) to improve operational efficiency and create new business models.
Manage multiple AI projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Foster innovation and continuous learning within the team, staying updated with AI/ML trends and best practices.
Eligibility criteria
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex AI/ML projects from concept to production.
Deep understanding of Gen AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG) and their practical applications.
Strong technical background in ML algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in the industrial automation, energy, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
