Al Tayer Group offers a job opportunity for the position of HR Specialist - Hospitality Brands in the UAE, Who will be responsible for providing HR operational support to the Hospitality Division, ensuring HR meets their needs & objectives effectively and efficiently.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Act as a representative of the HR function, providing day-to-day HR support to employees and management.
- Handle staff grievances & disciplinary issues and provide guidance to line managers for efficient & satisfactory resolution of the same in line with HR policies and procedures and undertake suitable measures to aid retention.
- Facilitate the performance management process, drive appraisal process for its successful conclusion during probation and
annual cycle, and review & report outcomes to HRBPs for further analysis & decisions in training, reward & performance
management areas. - Provide advice to all employees in line with company and HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure applicable system updates, report generation, and record-keeping in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate/Facilitate and present joining formalities as well as induction and orientation and subsequently follow up on
progress of new recruits in their jobs through the induction and probation period. - Facilitate the smooth transition of employees exiting the organization by coordinating with the relevant departments in ensuring payment of final settlement dues and cancellation of visas within the appropriate time frame.
- Oversee entry and maintenance of employee data on all HR systems and ensure accuracy and timeliness of the same.
- Prepare all official letters as required per approved employee request in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and administer on the system requirements for the process of performance management.
- Update the performance appraisal system concerning hierarchy details, and role profiles to ensure its accuracy is maintained all the time.
- Coordinate on staff grievances & disciplinary issues as assigned with the employee and the line managers for process compliance & efficiency & satisfactory resolution.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Human Resources and/or Business Management.
- Minimum 3-4 years experience of which 2 years Hospitality specific experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficient in MS Office. Exposure to HR software solutions would be an advantage.
- Good command of English. Arabic would be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
