The company is seeking a Human Resources and Administration Manager to strategically and technically lead the HR and Administration department in their Beirut Country Office. The successful candidate will oversee HR and Admin compliance and strengthen support services, including staff care, employee relations, recruitment, and operations. They will ensure the organization is well-positioned to respond to current and future needs while building the capacity of the HR team and line managers.
Duties & responsibilities
Developing and implementing HR & Admin strategies, systems, and procedures at the national level in adherence to employment guidelines.
Contributing to the country strategy and the HR/Admin Plan of Action with actionable initiatives.
Overseeing the implementation of all HR and Admin-related policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and governmental regulations.
Managing the HR and Admin team across all offices, focusing on capacity building and skills transfer.
Leading initiatives related to employee engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, and staff care.
Determining workforce needs, identifying competency gaps, and devising workforce development plans.
Eligibility criteria
A Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior management HR role, preferably within a humanitarian, emergency, or recovery context.
Proven capacity to lead, develop strategy, and implement change.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, training, and presentation skills.
