Opportunity description

Disney offers internship for students in sales strategy and solutions in the USA. The Sales Strategy and Solutions intern will be part of dynamic team developing and supporting strategies to best achieve and optimize site needs. This role will have exposure to key stakeholders in Sales, Pricing, Sales Analytics and Insights, and Revenue Planning.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Provide strategic input on sales channel distribution and product strategies, working with key stakeholders across the company such as Sales, Sales Analytics and Insights, Pricing and Revenue Planning.
  • Coordinate the development of quarterly business reviews.
  • Support implementation of sales channel strategies including associated technology capabilities and processes.
  • Represent all sales channels, domestic and international, in forums and project teams providing leadership on sales needs and strategic business impacts.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, diversity, and innovation with the Sales Strategy & Solutions team.

Eligibility criteria

  • Strong partnering and relationship skills, with the ability to function effectively in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Passion for strategic projects focused on business growth.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skill.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task different projects for different managers.
  • Proven ability to handle information in a confidential manner.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
  • The major should be in finance, marketing, business administration, economics, industrial engineering or a related field.

Additional Information:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
  • Must provide full work availability.
  • All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
  • Must provide own transportation to/from work
  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2022 - January 2023
