Zain Jordan is looking for a highly motivated and skilled IP Network Engineer to join the operations team within the Engineering Division. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing IP/MPLS and IPRAN networks, in addition to key network components such as IGW, BNG, OLT, DDoS protection systems, Wi-Fi controllers, CGN, performance monitoring systems, and caching systems.
The engineer will be responsible for operating and supporting core and access network components and IP services, focusing on both corrective and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, implementing solutions, improving network performance, and contributing to network expansion and the introduction of new technologies.

Duties & responsibilities
Plan, design, optimize, and support IP/MPLS and IPRAN networks with multi-vendor components
Design infrastructure for new services, identify areas for improvement, and implement acceptance testing plans
Study and evaluate emerging technologies such as IPv6, EVPN, SR-TE, DS-Lite, NAT64/46/444, H-VPN, SDN, and others
Integrate services with network monitoring and performance systems (NMS/PMS) and ensure proper service visibility
Manage and implement systems like DPI, BNG, OLT, Wi-Fi controllers, caching, and CGN solutions
Eligibility criteria
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Preferably 2+ years of experience in IP networks or network operations
Strong knowledge of routing protocols, network architecture, and network security
Excellent analytical and technical skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
