Volvo Cars is offering summer Internship in IT & Digital Cyber-security 2022.
Duties & responsibilities
- With direction from the Americas Information Security Officer (ISO) and staff, complete daily tasks and assignments.
- Assist in reviewing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and implementing data protection controls.
- Participate in D&OX product team and business partner engagements including product security architecture, risk, and business continuity assessments.
- Review application and operational vulnerability/penetration tests and assist with vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to help with their cybersecurity needs.
- Assist with documentation of cybersecurity-related policies and procedures.
Eligibility criteria
- In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong desire to learn along with professional business acumen.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office product suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Analyses, designs, plans, executes, and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets.
- Must be able to work in a confidential environment and with sensitive materials.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Past experience from internships, part-time employment, volunteer work, or military service a plus.
