Opportunity description
Aramex offers a job opportunity, announces its need for an accountant in Dokki, Egypt. As an Accountant in Aramex, you will play a vital role by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting records through accurate processing of transactions, comprehensive account reconciliations and generation of insightful reports.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Update COD reconciliation from scheduled date to customers in email.
- Follow up on COD shipments of scheduled customers on a daily working basis.
- Communicate with commercial team regarding COD customers.
- Generate accounting reports to direct Managers as required.
- Provide accounting/financial assistance to the other teams and suppliers as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve its objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and standards that guarantee accurate financial entries into the system.
- Ensure all entry into the accounting system are accurate and processed on time.
- Ensure that all financial entries are approved as per budget.
- Perform various tasks as requested by the direct manager, chief accountant, and/or the accounting manager.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting/Finance.
- 1+ years of Experience in Accounting.
- Proficient with Microsoft office Excel.
