Opportunity description
Al Tayer Group offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of commercial merchandiser who will be responsible for implementing visual merchandising strategy as per brand guidelines; window installation, in-store display & product merchandising, internal and external podiums, style mannequins as per theme/direction.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Display merchandise in a compelling manner ensuring the brand standards are maintained.
- Check that the stock has been displayed, steamed, properly tagged, and priced as per brand standards & visual guidelines.
- Work closely with VM colleagues to launch seasonal activations in a timely and cost-effective manner, install and merchandise all display props.
- Support the team to adapt brand-driven concepts in line with store and mall guidelines.
- Use the business-approved checklist to ensure correct and the highest possible standards are being maintained.
- Support with the maintenance of all display equipment and materials used for in-store displays, mannequins, windows, and podiums.
- Ensure all items are carefully dismantled, packed, and stored for future use.
- Attend training sessions conducted by brands and the buying team to ensure display standards are maintained.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Fashion/Art/Visual Merchandising background with minimum 3 years experience.
- Strong ready-to-wear VM experience, ideally having worked with a number of luxury brands.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
