Job in Jordan: Applications Officer at Hikma

Hikma offers a job opportunity in Jordan for the position of applications officer. You will liaise with software developers and engineers to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software. As well as build relationships with vendors of application software deployed in the organization’s IT environment to learn about and provide feedback on their technical integration capabilities. You will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain a Business Applications blueprint for the organization.
• Orchestrate integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams.
• Plan, execute, and manage the technical introduction of new applications and integration with existing systems.
• Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate administration and integration operations.
• Follows all relevant Hikma policies, processes, and standard.
• Contributes to the preparation of the Applications budget to ensure alignment with the approved set budget.
• Build relationships with software development and engineering teams to gain an understanding of application architectures and required functionality.
• Develop training materials related to administration and operation software systems.
• Deliver Training to end-users, as well as train the trainer where needed.
• Where necessary, provide guidance to junior members of the team.
• Research and make recommendations on products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
• Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via automation, integration or, as necessary, minimize any impact introduced on those processes as a result of technology.
• Evaluate results of integration projects, then report and make recommendations based on findings.

You must have:

• University degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in supporting the development of enterprise solutions architectural designs.
• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages, such as C#, .Net, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with automated integration tools, such as MS SSIS, SAP HCI, Dell Boomi.
• Hands-on experience with relational database design and management techniques.
• Hands-on experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
• Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
