Opportunity description

ABB offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of customer/sales support specialist which gives you a chance to be the part of Motion Business Area for Drive Products division based in Amman, Jordan. In this role, you will be managing projects, product execution, and own delivery of selected products on time and on budget and will be coordinating with customers being an ambassador for ABB in front of the customer. Duties & responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring complete value chain from sales order booking to receipt of customer payment for motion product orders on time and as per costing.
  • Coordinating with customers about order acknowledgment, delivery, and forwarder arrangements for on-time delivery.
  • Ensuring payment collection is happening on time, checking order received from customers, and comparing it with ABB offer before booking it in the system.
  • Completing correspondence with factory for orders including checking packing list, delivery details, goods receipt tracking in SAP, and arranging dispatch of shipping documents on time to customers.
  • Placing warranty orders as per the details given by the service team in SAP & in BOL and following up with the factory till dispatch and returning the faulty material back to the factory.
  • Tracking customs clearance accounts and updating SAS on monthly basis for materials rejected/ returned by customers.
  • Knowing and working with Basware System, BOL, POL, OMS, and cash flow focus in addition to REV targets.
  • Supporting the sales team during emergency situations, cash and revenue direct targets > O2C.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of proven relevant experience in incoterms and logistics, SAP, order creation, order handling, and quotation.
  • Proficient in MS tools, excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language is mandatory.
