World Vision offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of Early Childhood Education Centre Officer. Under the overall supervision of the ECED & CPiE Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education in ELC – Azraq Camp, with daily Supervision for ELC- Azraq Camp Staff and centers.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Discuss the Early Learning Center weekly activities plan with the ECE PM.
- Keep the staff informed about the instructional program and services, and conduct meetings as needed to ensure that the instructional programs run smoothly.
- Ensure staff adheres to educational standards and criteria as outlined in MOE Standards.
- Oversee the performance of KG teachers by ensuring that they are providing high-quality educational service, attending classes, and providing /coordinating for capacity building.
- Ensure parents have clear and accurate information about their child’s progress through their teachers and coordinate opportunities for community leaders to provide advice and support to the early childhood programs.
- Ensure that any accidents involving children are reported to their respective parents and ECE as per policy.
- Evaluation and selection of learning materials and equipment that fit the center’s needs.
- Ensure education staff maintains the required component information in each child’s file.
- Determining the needs, and requirements of children with disabilities and arranging transportation services for children with disabilities.
- Participate in camps coordination meetings, and share updates with partners in education and ECD and establish coordination channels.
- Any other tasks requested by the PM.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- At least one year of experience as a kindergarten teacher.
- At least one year of experience in the Azraq – camp.
- Very good knowledge of safe environments and safe places for children.
- Substantial experience as a preschool teacher, as manager of a kindergarten or equivalent, and training, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- University degree in Education, ECD, or related fields.
- You are preferred to have:
- Excellent communication in Arabic and English.
- Ability to cope and work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Computer skills (Microsoft office).
- Arabic and English skills.
