Australian College of Kuwait offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of Supervisor- Facilities & Projects. It is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join its growing team in the Facilities & Projects Department. You shall provide support to the Facilities Manager in the daily operation of the Facilities. Under broad supervision, you will be responsible for assigning daily tasks to the facilities technicians as per work order and supervise their work to ensure task completion within agreed timeframe.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for (includes but not limited to):
- Plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the department.
- Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the department.
- Supervise and direct the work activities of the facilities technicians on day-to-day building maintenance operations.
- Ensure all essential, critical and fast going items required for repair and maintenance purposes are available in storage at all times.
- Ensure all AU facilities are maintained at all times by scheduling site visits and conducting regular inspection.
- Timely purchasing of needed materials, using department budget & petty cash.
- Obtaining quotations/ samples for materials and furniture needed.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Diploma qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years experience in relevant field.
- Ability to supervise a team.
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
