• Have a daily dialogue with guests to get continuous feedback about their experiences and to learn more about their needs and wants, then act based on their input.
• Responsibility of coordinating the area of food safety in the store.
• Ensure that IKEA Food Safety programs are implemented and followed in the store.
• Build relationships with relevant national and local authorities, auditors and suppliers. 
• Be well updated on current and upcoming national legislation on food safety. 
• Ensure that the IKEA FOOD Team knows how to act if an incident occurs through the Emergency Management Team. 
• Actively work with the Chef to increase his knowledge and expertise in all areas of production
• Ensure the correct use of equipment at all times and reports breakdown or failure to the Chef
• Attend and participates in training sessions as required
• Ensure all ingredients are available from stores and are of good quality to enable him to produce food in a timely manner.
• Ensure all food produced is of high quality by following standard recipes and using correct ingredients.
• Follow all food safety rules and regulations to ensure the safe production and storage of food and that any required exposure of these items to unacceptable temperature and humidity levels is minimized
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

• You have Secondary Certificate 
• You have previous service environment experience, ideally sales or hospitality - Minimum of 2 years.
• You have an interest and knowledge of culinary or food service industry
• You have a strong customer focus
• You have the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and constantly changing retail environment
• You have multitasking capabilities
• You are computer literate
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You are able to build working relationships
• You are able to speak and understand English
• You have proven leadership abilities and lead by example
