Farah Experiences LLC offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of assistant stage manager (ASM). In this role, you will responsible for guiding the team leader and all indirect reports ensuring the team delivers their responsibilities to the highest standards possible while creating smiles and maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace. As an ASM, you will work with members of the department and company as an active participant in achieving artistic goals, ensuring consistent quality, and guaranteeing a high level of performance from colleagues under your guidance.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Manage and provide guidance to team leaders and your respective front-line colleagues.
- Oversee duty schedules for your area ensuring that annual leave plans support operational readiness and ensure sufficient time off to colleagues.
- Working with your line manager on production, and installation schedules for in-park events and activations.
- Coordinate with procurement and third-party vendors.
- Oversee décor installation and design for the events based on the Scope of Work and event’s deck.
- Manage the running of all Entertainment live show offerings.
- Give notes to animators, cast, and crew in the running of the shows.
- Liaise with the Maintenance department to fix technical issues and follows up to ensure issues are solved.
- Hold daily briefings with the department.
- Assists other shows within the department as needed.
- Ensures departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards are being implemented and maintained throughout your area.
- Ensures your area meets targets as set by your departmental manager via tracking.
- Assists with logistics to audition new colleagues.
- Assures Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets are being met and tracks results.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Higher secondary or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in leadership and 2 years in the entertainment industry.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive and flexible attitude, ability to effectively prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of current Health and Safety guidelines.
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- You preferred to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts.
- 3 years of stage management experience and/or 5 years of performance experience.
- First Aid trained.
- Technical background.
