Accor offers a job opportunity for the position the executive pastry chef at Mövenpick in the United Arab Emirates. You will create new and exciting desserts to renew the menus and engage the interest of guests. Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Oversee the kitchen – pastry section operations of the Hotel.
  • Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc.
  • Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc.
  • Ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
  • Provide service that is sincere, and enthusiastic, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a consistent focus on improving the overall flow of the kitchen - Pastry operations.
  • Seeking ways to maximize and improve the operation through productivity management and energy savings programs.
  • Lead daily departmental briefings and monthly employee meetings.
  • Ensure guests are communicated with and assisted in an efficient, warm, and professional manner by all team members.
  • Actively review guest comments and feedback.
  • Communicate this with the team members and implement procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities.
