Job in UAE: Lab Technician at Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes offers a job opportunity for the position of lab technician. You will be participating in a test readiness review (TRR) to express any concerns before assembly and testing are conducted. You will work with the project manager and test engineers on the completion of testing requirements to meet the internal/external client’s needs. As a global team, they design and deliver surface pressure control equipment, as well as support field maintenance, commissioning, and de-commissioning. This is your chance to work in collaborative teams and solve critical issues.

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Providing feedback to the Lab engineers, test engineers, logistic teams, and lab manager.
• Promoting testing excellence and efficiency gains in the support of product testing & qualification.
• Carrying Pre-TRR and TRR for all scheduled tests.
• Participating in internal and external audits.
• Monitoring daily tasks assigned via email or verbal by lab manager, lab engineers, test engineers, project managers, and or upper management.
• Working closely with the Lab Engineer BH Engineering PL with questions on project-related issues.

You must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma, with 5+ years of Testing & Qualification experience.
• Knowledge of Pressure Testing.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering for Pressure Control equipment.
• Experience with Wellhead and Christmas Tree equipment.
• Experience of managing projects.
