The Higher College of Technology announces a full-time job opportunity for the position of senior researcher- space system engineer. You shall play a pivotal role in developing a space technology roadmap for the short and long term and engage in related projects. As well as, you shall need to demonstrate deep commitment and passion to work with the students and aspire them on space technologies.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Bring in the experience in system engineering related to CubeSat (1U-3U).
- Take over the technical project management of the first CubeSat project.
- Lead the engineering activities along with an industrial partner which shall support HCT in the first project.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or similar engineering fields from a recognized university.
- Full English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of previous experience with the design and integration of CubeSats or small/microsats.
- Experienced with systems engineering, designing, implementing and/or testing CubeSat hardware.
- Ability to communicate and mentor students.
- Project and risk management skills.
