Job Opportunities: Manager, Internal Audit at Deloitte in Canada

Deloitte is offering a job opportunity in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as a Manager, Internal Audit. That will manage a diverse team of talented consultants and senior consultants, coaching them to their highest potential while they deliver a variety of operational internal audit needs.

1. Lead and execute operational internal audit projects for clients across all phases of the internal audit lifecycle (i.e., planning, fieldwork and reporting). 
2. Provide value-added and relevant analysis of an organization’s internal control structure, performance, productivity and efficiency. 
3. Lead and deliver on fraud risk assessments across various business processes. 
4. Facilitate client workshops on various topics (including enterprise risk assessments). 
5. Assess the governance and internal control environment for various clients and providing value-add observations and recommendations.

1. Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field 
2. 4 to 7 years of managerial or related experience in an internal audit function or professional service firm 
3. Experience in leading Operational Internal Audits, IT Internal Audits, Enterprise Risk Assessments and annual risk-based Internal Audit planning
4. Experience with project management activities and managing outsource / co-sourced engagements. 
5. CIA is preferred while Accounting designation (CPA) is a nice to have
6. Strong knowledge of IT systems and IT controls is an asset including a CISA or CISSP
7. Strong knowledge of business operations and key processes will be considered key asset
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
9. Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills 
10. Experience with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, and team leadership 
11. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PPT
12. Data analytics and data visualization (considered an asset)
13. Ability to apply Professional Practice Framework for the Practice of Internal Audit 
14. Canadian travel may occasionally be required
