Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Perform data modeling and create data structures to support reporting needs.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases.
- Use SSAS for advanced data analysis and multidimensional data modeling.
- Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) to automate business processes and integrate data.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive decision making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Stay current on the latest Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Power Platform, and data management practices.
Eligibility criteria
You should have:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Microsoft Power Platform, and data modeling.
- Proven experience building and managing Power BI dashboards and data visualization.
- Strong SQL proficiency, with experience writing complex queries and working with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with SSAS, including building cubes and multidimensional data models.
- Experience working on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
