Opportunity description

PWC is hiring for a Business Intelligence Analyst in Saudi Arabia. You should have a strong background in Power BI, SQL, SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), Microsoft Power Platform and data modeling, along with excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, model and visualize data to help the company make various strategic decisions.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Perform data modeling and create data structures to support reporting needs.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases.
  • Use SSAS for advanced data analysis and multidimensional data modeling.
  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) to automate business processes and integrate data.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive decision making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Stay current on the latest Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Power Platform, and data management practices.

Eligibility criteria

You should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Microsoft Power Platform, and data modeling.
  • Proven experience building and managing Power BI dashboards and data visualization.
  • Strong SQL proficiency, with experience writing complex queries and working with relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with SSAS, including building cubes and multidimensional data models.
  • Experience working on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
