Opportunity description
Amazon is offering a job opportunity as a Team leader in one of Amazon Logistics' delivery channels in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for managing Delivery Stations (DS) for a variety of Last Mile Programs (LMP) that Amazon Logistics (AMZL) uses to delight its customers, and will also act as a key point of contact between AMZL's operations teams and various delivery service provider partners (Courier Partners) and HubDP (Small/Medium Store Partners in local communities) to enhance, maintain and improve LM delivery capacity.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Billing management.
- Daily follow-up with vendors.
- Incentive management.
- Follow up and control standardized inventory.
- Daily operations of key partner stores.
- Quick understanding of business problems and challenges facing LM operations.
- Identify strengths/weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement and development.
- Develop performance metrics and submit reports.
- Prepare and analyze budget to identify potential opportunities to improve customer experience.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Strong executive skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and come up with appropriate solutions depending on the situations you face.
- Experience in managing teams.
- Experience in planning and process improvement.
It is preferable to have:
- Experience in logistics services.
- Experience in data analysis.
