Opportunity description

Amazon offers a job opportunity for German speakers to work as customer service executives in Egypt. Amazon strives to be the most customer-centric company on Earth, and its award-winning customer service team is a key part of achieving that goal. The company handles things differently as you will not be asked to read from a script or memorize dialogue, but will provide you with the training you need to solve various customer problems.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
  • Prevent problems, respond to customer inquiries, and help keep them happy.
  • You will serve as the first point of contact for German speaking customers by responding to their requests via phone, chat and/or email.
  • The company's customer service associates use a variety of tools to research, review solutions, and communicate effectively with customers.
  • In this job you will work in different hours to match when customers need the company most.
  • You will work a 9-hour shift including day, late and night shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Note: You may be required to work on national holidays.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • The right to work in Egypt.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school certificate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German.
  • Experience working on computers.
  • Possibility of working in different shifts from Monday to Sunday within the company’s working hours.
  • Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts (i.e. early, late, weekend, and overtime when needed).
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • You don't need any previous customer service experience to join this job.
