Almarai Company offers a job opportunity as a safety and fire officer in the Saudi Arabia.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Oversee the safety of all department employees, contractors and visitors at all locations/accommodations at the Hail site.
- Report any unsafe equipment, practices or actions to functional management to ensure immediate corrective action is taken to eliminate/minimize the risk of loss resulting from fire and water damage to Almarai Company resources such as: employees, buildings, machines, equipment, products, raw materials, information, and paper and electronic information retrieval systems.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Diploma in fire protection or any other recognized qualification.
- 3 years of experience organizing a multicultural workforce, handling fire detection and suppression equipment.
- 5 years previous experience in fire management.
- Previous experiences as a trained firefighter with either a civilian fire brigade or a large multi-national fire brigade.
- Ability to work on fire detection and extinguishing equipment.
- Supervisory experience, and the ability to plan work for subordinates.
- Firefighting skills.
- Conduct firefighting drills.
- Conduct fire prevention drills.
- Ability to investigate fire incidents.
- Basic computer skills to work on Word/Excel programs.
