Tamara Company offers a job opportunity as a fraud investigator in Egypt. You will be responsible for monitoring and investigating suspicious transactions and activities to help protect the company and its customers from financial loss and damage to the company's reputation. You must possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Monitor and analyze transactions and activities to identify potential fraud, money laundering or other criminal activities.
- Use data analysis, statistical modeling, and fraud detection tools to identify suspicious patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial transactions.
- Investigate suspicious activities and prepare detailed reports on the findings.
- Collaborate with other teams to implement fraud prevention measures and improve overall site security.
- Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and developments in fraud prevention technologies.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members when needed.
- Contact customers and dealers frequently.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including various weekends, nights and/or holidays.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of Excel and SQL.
- It is highly recommended that you have knowledge of the Python language.
- From 0 to 2 years of experience in fraud prevention, investigation or analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
