Opportunity description

Aramex is offering a job opportunity in Doha, Qatar as a Logistics Business Development Manager.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. This role will be focused on selling the warehousing and distribution segment
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationship with customers and internal stakeholders
  3. Align with the Supply Chain and Logistics manager on the market leads, pipeline strength and budget needed
  4. Align with the Supply Chain and Logistics manager on available space in the warehouses, and prepare quotation along with the manager to ensure maximum competitiveness and profitability
  5. Ensure best sales practices to meet customer needs and expectations and capitalize on growth
  6. Enhance customer loyalty by delivering customized tailored solutions
  7. Regularly reviewing customer performance and targets to ensure coming up with plans to help achieve and exceed targets set
  8. Collect required customer information and documents to ensure proper customer onboarding and efficient operational handover
  9. Ensure customers information are up to date utilizing CRM tools
  10. Experience in using Salesforce is a plus
  11. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus

Eligibility criteria

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or any other related field
  2. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  3. At least 4 - 6 years sales experience, preferably in warehousing or logistics sales
  4. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills 
  5. Strong customer focus and analytical skills
