Aramex is offering a job opportunity as a mobile application developer in the UAE where you will be responsible for updating the company's Atlas project, including Auth, CSS, and UX. Your responsibilities will include implementing the design of the application, integrating the new API, and providing the necessary support in the implementation cycle of the application.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Manage the entire application lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, implementation, testing, launch, and support.
- Develop prototypes during the technology scoping phase of the project.
- Collaborate with web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support applications and web platforms.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to design and develop user-friendly interfaces.
- Design and create attractive user interfaces tailored for mobile devices.
- Improve application performance to provide the best user experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in mobile and web technologies.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in any technology-related field (computer science, engineering, information technology).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in mobile application development.
- Good knowledge of information architecture, human-computer interaction, and design principles that provide ease of use on mobile devices.
- Strong track record of delivering successful consumer products.
- Work experience on React Native.
- Experience in web services integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS and PHP.
- Experience using Oatuh integrations and implementations (Auth0, Okta, etc.).
- Understanding of iOS mobile application development.
- Strong object-oriented design and programming skills in Objective-C.
- Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, core data, core location, etc.).
- Familiar with Xcode.
- Strong design and object-oriented programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME).
- Familiar with Android SDK.
- Experience using version control software (e.g. GitHub, TFS).
