Opportunity description

Agoda Corporation offers a job opportunity as a partner team leader in the part related to strategy and business development operations in China. You will be responsible for increasing the coverage and quality of Agoda's supply network, managing a team responsible for a wide range of emerging and growing supply partners and assisting in partnership-related functions.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage a team of 8 to 10 external associates, team leaders, and/or executive partners who liaise with emerging and growing supply partners to highlight revenue growth opportunities, respond to requests from existing partners, and onboard new partners.
  • Contribute to shaping and accelerating the plan, strategy, and direction of the growth team and ensuring achievement of regional and country growth targets.
  • Provide constructive feedback, motivate, and evaluate team performance on a regular basis.
  • Identify gaps in performance, formulate action plans to address the gaps, and implement and follow up action plans to ensure their success.
  • Communicate effectively with various partners through various communication methods including phone, email, correspondence, and webinars.
  • Oversee the prioritization of daily tasks for the team, monitor results, and follow up on the progress of internal systems.
  • Improve team operational processes and support resource management.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education degree from top universities.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in an operational, strategic, or executive role.
  • Understanding, articulating, and coaching others on business development skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role/managing teams.
  • Ability to use data to lead teams and make decisions.
  • Intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of people, including the ability to build strong partnerships with other departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a competitive field/rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong emotional intelligence.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
