Job Opportunity as a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft in the US

Microsoft is looking for a qualified Principal Software Engineer to join the team and work in Washington, United States for 2021. The Engineer values collaboration, teamwork, and helping grow other engineers (with the possibility of working as a Tech Lead for a small group of engineers). The Engineer also connects with partner teams, understand their needs, and help them integrate Fluent UI React into their product. 

1. Work on React components for web apps, and tooling used to build shared libraries and applications. Microsoft’s code is used in nearly every major Microsoft web app including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Teams, Planner, OneDrive, SharePoint, Yammer, Dynamics, and others. 
2. Collaborate directly with many product teams across Microsoft, as well as 3rd party customers, to integrate shared code and understand their needs.         
3. When teams have fundamental problems, the Engineer drives for robust solutions. This often means diving into product code to help solve problems and then brining Microsoft learning back to improve the library for all customers.  

1. Good communicator who is passionate about building a friendly and fun work environment that enables inclusiveness, productivity, and learning.
2. 6+ years of development experience.
3. Deep Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React.  
4. Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, bonus for background in browser nuances or accessibility.
5. Enjoys working on the forefront of web technologies, motivating others to solve challenging problems, and demonstrates engineering excellence practices.
6. Experience owning, developing, and shipping UX features end-to-end.
7. Knowledge and passion for OSS libraries and community.
8. BA or BS in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
