Opportunity description
Aramex announces a job opportunity as an employee in the purchasing department in Egypt.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Run RFXs for all custom classes (direct and indirect).
- Manage the purchasing process and supply status efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that the company has a constant supply of materials and equipment.
- Working to achieve targeted financial efficiencies and cost saving initiatives.
- Processing requests from various departments, verifying their validity and following up on them.
- Purchasing management and follow-up.
- Maintain inventory by reviewing stock levels, tracking records, and planning future orders.
- Maintain good relationship with vendors and follow up on delivery and service level.
- Review outsourcing deals and contracts and evaluate vendor performance.
- Work closely with the legal and functional team to draft and review the terms and conditions of various contracts.
- Dealing with audit and inspection points.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of industrial engineering, finance, business administration, logistics, or any related field.
- Experience ranging from 2 to 3 years.
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
- Analytical skills, complex problem solving and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to achieve required goals according to deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as MS Word and Excel.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Source and supplier management skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Communication skills.
- This job will be located in Sheikh Zayed/6th of October Industrial Zone.
