Job Opportunity as a Promo Producer at TRT in Turkey

TRT is offering a job opportunity as a Promo Producer to join the team in Istanbul, Turkey for 2021. The Promo Producer is responsible for promoting television shows with the aim of enticing viewers to watch programs. Supporting the Visual Manager and Visual Department Leads in video editing, music and camera shooting for all TRT World needs across studio, on-air, on-line, Marcom, Digital and Vision departments. Doing necessary and administrative tasks. Directly reports to the department lead. 

1. According to predefined guideline; Write, produce, direct, edit and drive forward-thinking and audience focused promotional video script with engaging audio visual storytelling for films, series, documentaries, programmes, news coverages and kids shows.
2. Ensure that the promos are in alignment with the content's identity, pace and editing tone and that the audio and visual mood are in coherence with target audience expectations.
3. Collaborate with production companies, producers, DOPs and production crew and direct editors and voice over artists.
4. Collaborate with Design Team, direct the Animation Team, drive and lead intermediate editing staff.
5. Collaborate Marketing & Branding Team to identify unique selling points of the contents, target audience, create audience and experience-oriented video solutions.
6. Produce promotional material to meet marketing communication strategies.
7. Evolve the expression of the brand across all digital properties.
8. Produce and deliver creative videos that strengthen TRT distinction and leadership position.
9. Monitor film, cinema, series, documentary, programmes, news coverages and kids shows industry trends and competitors to look for opportunities to evolve and differentiate.
10. Articulate and defend conceptual and directional choices.
11. Promote continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.
12. Maintain consistency in creative quality and delivery.

1. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Directing or Editing related field and 3+ years of experience.
2. High level of proficiency in the film pre-production, production and post production processes.
3. Proficient understanding of video editing, audio editing, sound editing and audio visual storytelling to convert the right mood.
4. Expertise in promos, trailers, ads and short form video content production and editing.
5. Excellent in writing plots and storyboarding and excellent sense of audio visual pace and rhythm.
6. Excellent writing, presentation and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations.
7. Experience in monitoring the production process and maintaining coordination between the production crew and creative teams.
8. Experience in fields and studio shoots.
9. Experience in the creative development process in a client-services environment.
10. Understanding of layout and typography, motion design and animation production.
11. Competency in Adobe Creative Suite especially Premiere and preferably After Effects, Photoshop, Audition. Knowledge in other editing tools such the Edius and Avid. Knowledge in DaVinci Resolve is plus.
12. Comprehensive awareness and interest in new promo, short form video advertising and editing trends, the digital video on demand industry as well as new platforms and technologies.
13. Highly empathetic to your audiences and ensure creative ideas are grounded in insights.
14. Strong team player and ability to develop projects as well as creative solutions to provide timely visual outputs to keep work on schedule.
15. Strong ability to prioritize projects based on short and long-term needs.
16. Comfortable to develop creative and fast paced asset production.
17. Be a self-starter who comes up with new approaches.
18. Excellent analytical, verbal and written skills.
