Rotana Hotel offers a job opportunity as a reservations agent in the United Arab Emirates. The hotel is looking for a motivated and dynamic person who is able to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions for guests to join this opportunity.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Communicate effectively on all bookings to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Confirm guest room reservations made by clients by phone or fax.
- Enter all reservations on the computer, record all relevant information, and respond to inquiries, complaints, and requests related to reservations.
- Stay up to date on all promotions in and around the hotel and follow established procedures for processing all room reservations, confirmations, hotel amenities, etc.
- Maintain an established filing system for all correspondence and collection of reports as required by the Booking Manager or Supervisor.
- Promote and maintain public relations and strive to maximize work.
- Answering all incoming calls as per Rotana Hotels standards, entering information received by fax and constantly checking incoming emails.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Diploma/degree in hospitality and previous experience in hotel reservations.
- You must be computer literate with excellent communication skills, written and oral command of the English language.
- Additional language skills are preferred.
- An initiative, polite, dynamic and friendly personality.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with internal and external clients.
- Ability to work independently in a structured environment.
- Ability to work within a team.
- The ability to take responsibility.
- Adaptability.
