Opportunity description

Amazon Corporation is offering a job opportunity as a Facilities, Maintenance, and Real Estate RME Coordinator in West Bengal, India.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Assign tasks to team members, and check work for compliance with stipulated hygiene standards.
  • Establish housekeeping staff work standards and procedures.
  • Schedule major cleaning projects periodically including shampooing carpets, cleaning walls and baseboards, and cleaning windows.
  • Examine the building to determine the need for repair or replacement or for any other materials or equipment.
  • Provide the necessary recommendations to the Reporting Manager.
  • Investigate concerns about housekeeping services and equipment, and take corrective action.
  • Prepare annual housekeeping budget.
  • Records data related to work tasks and employee actions, and prepares periodic reports.
  • Attend periodic staff meetings with heads of other departments to discuss company policies and customer complaints, and make recommendations to improve service and ensure its operation more efficiently.
  • Control all expenses related to housekeeping, including labor salaries, hygiene supplies, and all other cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Preparing daily/weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensure effective use of machines and check business cards.
  • Ensure that all consumables required for cleaning purposes are sufficiently available on site.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for cleaning and initiating new ones to increase work efficiency.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management.
  • From 2 to 5 years of experience in the software field.
  • Facilities management experience, preferably with a hospitality background.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of housekeeping machines.
