Opportunity description

Al Futtaim is looking for a Sales Manager to be in charge of Construction Equipment and to join the team in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for 2021. The Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting, marketing, selling Volvo construction equipment products and sales activities within Dubai, North Emirates and Abu Dhabi area of the UAE where FAMCO has business.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Contributing to the achievement of revenue, unit sales and customer engagement through effective sales process management, increasing customer retention and efficient distribution strategy.
  2. Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the Division.
  3. Proactively manage customer requirements for on-time delivery taking into account lead-times, product specification changes and customer demand.
  4. Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key contacts.
  5. Able to manage every element of the sales process on an individual level.
  6. Remain abreast with latest regulations, standards and good working practices within the industry.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
  2. Must have 5years’ experience in selling construction equipment or related fields like selling trucks, selling superstructure and equipment rentals.
  3. Distributor and dealer experience would be a great advantage.
  4. Must have an existing customer base in the local market.
  5. Must be sales driven & customer focused.
  6. Has excellent territory management and product knowledge.
  7. Excellent communication, presentation skills & good team player.
  8. Arabic speakers preferred.
  9. UAE driving license will be a must.
