Rotana Hotel offers a job opportunity as a Sales Manager in Qatar where you will be responsible for carrying out all sales activities and maximizing business opportunities within your scope of responsibility specified in the job.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Extensive publicity for the hotel through direct sales.
- Execute all sales targets and action plans established to reach and exceed set targets.
- Adhering to sales strategies during negotiations and maximizing sales opportunities whenever possible.
- Ensure to have comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of all unique selling points of features, amenities, and services.
- Drafting corporate offer letters, annual contracts, and any other business correspondence.
- Provide periodic feedback on changing market conditions, including trends in competition based on your direct selling, telesales, and/or mail sales.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- A degree in sales or marketing, and it is preferred that you have work experience after graduation for at least two years in a similar job.
- Computer skills.
- Mastering the English language.
- You must be energetic and innovative, and able to work independently.
- The ability to maintain documents and account records for all clients and it is preferable to possess the following competencies:
- Understanding of hotel operations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Business planning skills.
- Ability to supervise people and processes.
- The ability to understand differences.
- Teamwork skills.
- Adaptability.
