Tamara company offers a job opportunity as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Egypt. You'll work with a diverse team of talented engineers, designers, analysts, product experts, and other cross-functional team members to leverage system design, create technical solutions, and delve deeply into solving complex problems.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Work on manual and automated testing of mobile applications (Android and iOS), web APIs and backends.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and implement transformation automation scripts using an internal automation framework and system.
- Identify errors, record them, document them accurately, and follow them up.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, product managers) to define system requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on the results of the correction process.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and different testing strategies.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Test Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- Working experience with different frameworks like Detox, Selenium, CodeceptJS, Appium, etc.
- Experience in manual testing and automated transformation (API, E2E, mobile).
- Design skills
- It is preferable to have development skills in Javascript.
- Experience with MySQL and scripting.
- Preferably have experience in DevOps and AWS.
- It is preferable to be proficient in English and Arabic.
