Opportunity description

Al Tayer Group offers a job opportunity as an assistant in the management of a store in Kuwait. You will be responsible for providing the necessary assistance in the store in order to ensure that all items are properly stored in the storage room in an easily accessible manner, as well as receiving stock deliveries on the relevant floor.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Receiving items from the loading bay and transferring them to the relevant stock room.
  • Sign the receipt after checking the items received.
  • Preparing items for display by assisting merchandisers and sales advisors in getting inventory onto the shop floor in a timely manner.
  • Inform the manager of all items received and report various damages/losses.
  • Complete receipt concern reports if items received do not have a barcode or security tag or are damaged, and send these reports to managers in order to send inventory back to the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping, safety, security, and healthcare procedures are followed within the store to avoid any future incidents.
  • Ensure that the storage room is always arranged in an easily accessible manner.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • A passion for retail and the ability to prioritize and organize your own work in order to make the most of the time available.
  • You must be driven to exceed your targets and possess a strong desire to improve ways of working.
  • Strong interest in luxury fashion.
  • High School certificate
  • You must possess 1-2 years in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of stock inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking skills in English.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and focus on clients.
  • Learning flexibility.
  • Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills.
