Al-Futtaim is offering a job opportunity as an Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for establishing and fostering relationships internally and externally across small and medium businesses to ensure strong ties at multiple levels.
Duties & responsibilities
- Develop and execute a detailed business plan to grow revenue opportunities
- Prospect and hunt for new related businesses
- Establish a winning relationship with the clients based on excellence and trust
- Manage further project responsibilities as needed to keep up with the fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the operations team to prepare presentations
- Provide Weekly updates on the function through achievements and areas of improvement
- Monitor budget and ensure compliance and proposes corrective measures when necessary.
- Support necessary measures towards continuous growth of the company.
- Support appropriate control mechanism to ensure budget compliance.
- Assist with the implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback
- Coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
Eligibility criteria
Functional Competencies
- Understand the digital eco systems and e-commerce environment
- Has the knowledge of selling solutions – consultative sales
- Good with Microsoft Excel/Sheets
- Well versed with Microsoft Office products (Docs, Sheets, Power Point, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication: able to express thoughts logically and succinctly
- Driving license
Qualifications/education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
Experience:
- 2-5+ years in sales, field sales and analytics sales experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in retail
Skills:
- Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
- Dynamic, energetic personality, who is passionate about building new business relationships
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Fearless on the cold calls, persistent, able to demonstrate product effectively and carries good work ethics
- Arabic and English working proficiency is a must
